Russell Around

OK, the function of the blog is to kill some time before lunch in my sheer and utter boredom. I am in the Art Centre reading blogs over and over 'cuz it's drvin' me insane. So. On Wednesday Cassie tried her hand at looking like me by forming a quiff on the top of her head. Hmm. I can't really see the resemblance myself. A little too dark. About 15 minutes ago, I think I accidentally deleted some poor upper sixth former's work, as while I was logging her password out of the computer, the computer asked me whether I wished to save the open document. Before I had a chance to act, the computer was logged out. Ooooops. And add a 'dammit' to that. Crumbs! I'm so bored! I feel I should be doing something other than this now.

What else. Rose has taken to informing us of what things are. In the space of five minutes, a plug, a book, an arm, my German homework and my ass were labelled. (Obviously not directly on my ass.) I swear, if one more person informs me that I have writing just above my backside, they will have arsebiscuit written across their head. And let's see how they'd like being informed about that!

Goodbye, my pwetties.

Partay mit Deutschland

Ja, I have decided I am going to Germany in August for three weeks to do work experience. It also means I have to have a German person staying with me for three weeks in January or February. I must be insane. But hey, I'm already planning my German welcome party to be held on the first weekend after the Germans arrive over here. It's just a shame they're coming in the winter months so there won't really be a lot for them to do. But hey, the partay will be open to all people doing the work experience and anyone else who may wish to come. Do let me know if you do-there'll be a buffet, music, karaoke (will love it if the Germans take part!) random games...

I just hope that Marion doesn't come to England while we're in Germany. (Something like 21st August-8th September. It does mean we'll miss three days of the Autumn term.)

And now we have an act involving no girls from the school!

-Said they, as they forgot I was part of Grey Floyd.
Yes, that was my act in the Variety Show last night. I thoroughly enjoyed the first half, which I was actually allowed to watch-a very amusing show, I must say. Due to the fact we were right at the end, I had to spend the entire second half before we went on with Dr Harris, who was really friendly, but also Keith Penfold droning on and on. (Gagh; he's the father of that irritating Catherine-Rose nose who I mean.) So that was boring, and I missed Mr Russell's comedy monologue which sounds like it was funny. I also thought they'd let way too many people in-the audience seats were all packed and there were people standing in the aisel, completely blocking all the fire exits-imagine if there was a fire? It's unthinkable to think of what could have happened then.
Anyway, I do hope people thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I particularly liked Michaela Gates and Mrs Husselbury's act-tres amusant, if I do say myself, although due to poor sound qualities I couldn't really hear a lot of it. Was pleased with the outcome of Grey Floyd, although Mr C forgot to sing here and there. I didn't see why he didn't just let Mr Beaman do it; he was the only person who actually knew it properly! (And could sing the right notes.)

On a final note, I thought it was the perfect excuse to wear such a ridiculous outfit. Rock on, dudes!
